I try this subscription box : Ipsy Glambag – May 2015

It is a 10$ a month subscription, very important for Canadians to be aware of the exchange rate and shipping. It comes up 19,20$. You get 5 samples or full size products and a makeup bag.

The box is shipped on the 15 of each month and you can get a sneak peek of your subscription box via their website, or on Instagram and Facebook. Personally, I like to be surprised when I receive my box. I also had to unsubscribe to their Instagram channels. But maybe I am the weird one.

I was really excited this month because I received my bag really early (May 11)! Woo hoo!

Here is what I got :

Buckle up, buttercup! I found the bag super cute! I was happy that it was a different size than the usual rectangle one.

I try this Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-in Conditioning Spray:

I liked taking good care of my hair. I try to condition it as much as I could since I dye it. I always appreciate getting items that are Vegan friendly , gluten-free and not tested on animal. That is a bonus point for them! This little bottle sprays a lot of product at once, I was surprised! By the way, watch out for your floor, a lot of product fell on it and I now have to clean it! The product was nice but I feel that my hair got greasier faster. Perhaps I can also try putting less product in my hair the next time.

I tried this Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High-Color Lipgloss:

This was a cool item. a lip pencil to make your lipgloss last longer. It did stay longer than the usual 15 minutes, for about an hour. I will definitely use this product with a lipstick as well.

They also send two bonus lipglosses samples. I am not very adventurous when it comes to makeup. I don’t see myself wearing purple lipstick. Nonetheless I was excited to try it. When I opened the lipglosses they looked like paint! Especially the bittersweet color. But I must say I love the texture and the colors are very beautiful.

I tried this IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+:

I receive the CC cream in the shade medium. It was thick but not as much as the Physician  Formula CC cream I have tried. I really like this product. You cannot see it very well on the picture, because the color was a good match. It does a nice coverage but what I love the most is that is stays on longer than any of my foundations, even when I don’t add powder foundation on top. I looked it up on the internet and a full size bottle is 38$. I find it expensive but I believe that it would be a great buy.

I tried this Pixi by Petra Beauty Bronzer in the color Summertime:

I barely use bronzers because I am always scared to put too much! I didn’t like this product because it was so shimmery… are bronzers suppose to shimmer that much? I tried it on as a eyeshadow but the powder is very dry. I am not sure what to do with this one. It could be used as a highlight

I tried this Luxie Beauty Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205:

This is a cute brush, it is synthetic and soft. It is a good addition to my brush set.

Overall thoughts:

I like the It cosmetic CC cream the most in this month Ispy Glambag. The only product I will get no use of is the bronzer. I think this bag was pretty good. Did you get the same items?
