I try the 30 day drinking 8 glasses of water a day challenge

What a fail! I did well for about 8 days but then…

This might seem like an odd post. Never in my life have I drunk enough water. I always had dry skin, was tired and had a little bit of extra weight. It is easy to find excuses for all of these, but I do know that drinking 8 glasses of water a day could help improve my health, my skin, my body, and my mind.

Although I have failed this challenge, I have learned a lot. Most of these might be obvious to most of you, but there is nothing like living it to believe it.

  1. You pee a lot. Like always. Your body has to get used to all this sudden intake of water!
  2. It is hard to create a new habit: Even if my bottle or my glass of water is in front of me the whole day, I was not drawn to drink it. After 30 days, it was still NOT a habit to drink more water
  3. My face was clear: I barely had pimple in high school, so life decided that I should have as an adult. However, when I drink my 8 glasses of water a day, for a few days in a row, my skin becomes super clear!
  4. I feel less tired: Perhaps because all my organs and muscles are fully hydrated, they are working better.
  5. My bowel movements are more frequent: Weird point I know, but I know I am not the only one who doesn’t go every day!
  6. Nicer skin: My skin looks healthier and is smoother!
  7. The more you drink the more you want to drink: It seems more I drank water the thirstier I was.

It takes 21 days to add a new habit in your life. Hopefully one day I will be able to drink enough water in my day.

Please let me know in the comments how you manage to drink enough water each day.

I like alkalized ionized water. Water molecules form clusters, and the smaller the clusters, the easier it is for the molecules to penetrate each of our body’s cells. Eight glasses a day will surely help detoxify the body.

Hi, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I’ve been away without internet access for a few days. My wife and I started our quest for healthy drinking water several years ago. We live in a community outside San Antonio, Texas, and the water here is very hard, as the public water source is an underground aquifer in limestone caverns. Along with the calcium in the water, the municipal utility also adds copious quantities of chlorine and flouride. These, combined with the other chemicals that leach into the aquifer, can make for a non-healthy drink of water. A few months ago we discovered Kangen water, which is produced from a home-use medical device manufactured in Japan by Enagic Corporation. The technology is amazing and the benefits of consuming the water in many cases are truly life-changing. You are welcome to visit my website http://www.structured-h2o.com . You can request a free e-book which has a lot of helpful information, plus I have some great videos on the site.
Enjoy and have a great day!

I also apologies for the late reply, I was on holiday. I will definitely check out your website for more information. I live in Canada and I was lucky enough never to have problems with our municipal water. That being said I still like to filter my water before drinking it. I am sure if I research it more, I will find out that our water is filled with chemicals as well. Thank you so much for your comment and teaching me more about water (something that seems so simple at first)! I hope you have a great day as well!
